About Me

Hello! I was born in Seoul, South Korea, and I am a fourth-generation practitioner of traditional Korean medicine.

My great-grandfather was a Korean medicine doctor and independence activist, practicing both in Korea and China until his passing. My four grandfathers each lived their lives as Korean medicine doctors in Seoul, Busan, and Incheon in Korea and my uncle lived in Nevada as an Oriental medicine doctor.

From a young age, I experienced acupuncture, moxibustion, and herbal medicine through my mother. However, as an adult, I chose a different path and majored in Business at Kyung Hee University in Korea. After graduating, I embarked on a three-month journey abroad to find my true calling. This led me to spend 10 years in Korea and another 10 years in the U.S. working in the wellness field, teaching yoga and Qigong, and training instructors.

I started my career in New York, where I found a certain level of satisfaction but felt something was still missing. After a car accident, I took a leave of absence from work and experienced rapid physical and mental recovery through acupuncture and herbal medicine. This rekindled my interest in the traditional Korean medicine I was familiar with from childhood, leading me to move to Los Angeles to formally study it.

I completed my doctoral studies at Dongguk Royal University and finished Master course at SouthBaylo University in LA.

Though it was not an easy journey, I have found great fulfillment and hope in becoming a healer who can help others, and I continue to work joyfully in this field. I derive immense satisfaction from seeing people heal physically and mentally, and in turn, finding happiness and joy in their lives again. My specialty is women's health and anti-aging, and my dream is to develop a wellness center that combines acupuncture and meditation for treatment.
